Yes!
I too feel this was a very valuable and fruitfull discussion and it would be great if something could be done with (some of) the ideas mentioned.

+1
but maybe with others command's apellations, because I'm afraid the name here isn't very clear,
or could be confused with "Toggle Light-Table mode", which is in the LT settings panel [Frame>Instance>Bookmark>...]

Re: Layer:Next Lighttablemode And Layer:Previous lighttablem
What about
Layer : Next Image From Light Table Loop
Layer : Previous Image From Light Table Loop
Important to remember that if the Light table is disabled the functions will still go to next Image from Light table.
For Instance If Light table Mode is set to "Bookmarks" and lighttable is disabled I will still go to next bookmark when i press

Re: Layer:Next Lighttablemode And Layer:Previous lighttablem
Just to be clear. This is a feature request to implement my scripts "Flip Bin" http://www.tvpaint.com/forum/viewtopic. ... bin#p18513
Directly into TVP. to make it work with all lighttable modes and to make it faster. but essentially it is the same feature.

Reading through the feature request to see whats being requested and whats implemented. I found out this request is a duplicate of this
viewtopic.php?f=21&t=3662&hilit=flip+bin
And I I just one to collect two comments from that topic in here

That means a funtion that goes to next instance if the lighttable is in instance mode or bookmarks if the lighttable is in bookmark mode. I think this is the default function that all(most) animators would want and it should be assigned to the left/ right arrow keyboard shortcuts as default.

Re: Layer:Next Lighttablemode And Layer:Previous lighttablem
We could extend this feature to the image marks too. That means a funtion that goes to next instance if the lighttable is in instance mode or bookmarks if the lighttable is in bookmark mode.
So, the behavior would be :
• LT using "Instance mode" > arrows move between instances' heads
• LT using "Frame mode" > arrows move between frames
• LT using "Bookmark" > arrows move between bookmarks
• LT using "Image Marks" > arrows move between marked images
• No LT > arrows move between frames
Do you think this automatic behavior should be a parameter (maybe some people just want to move from heads to heads, or images to images ?)
Re: Layer:Next Lighttablemode And Layer:Previous lighttablem
NO! It is extremely Important for this feature that this feature should work the same WHen the Lighttable is enabled and disabled . EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!Elodie wrote: • No LT > arrows move between frames
I have mentioned it here

It is useless if doesn't
