ok, so since ToonZ has almost no painting tools, it's mostly hand paper made animation + FX. (traditionnal old fashion way)

Ghibli will shows us making TV program how to drawing or post-effecting "Princess Kaguya" in November 2013.
Now I am able to share this video when Digital Video promote "Toonz" coloring Sumi-e FX function as same technique for "YAMADA" (08:03- / spoken in Italiano).

Line art (sheet 1) + for Coloring line art (sheet 2) + "Sumi-e (Ink wash painting)" Masking paint (sheet 3)= three times drawing per A sheet × about 5,000,000 during 8 years.
I am confused about the description of the technique . Your earlier comment seems to say that the "Sumi-e" ink wash technique is simulated in the Toonz software , but your other comment makes me think that the technique in "Princess Kaguya" is rendered on 3 sheets of paper : Sheet 1 = Line Art , Sheet 2 = coloring for line art , Sheet 3 = Sumi-e ink wash . (3 sheets used for each frame of the animation) Then this animation is scanned to Toonz for compositing (?) .

All made by hand drawing (include traceline for digital colorign and Sumi-e masking line for compositon, that why I said "three times drawing per one sheet".
DisneyMovies DVD for U.S.A. is not including "Making of Yamada".

Walt Disney Studio Japan decided to BAN "On your Mark" (1995) and delete it from "MIYAZAKI Hayao movie products complete BD/DVD BOX".
