Great update guys!
Been playing with it for a bit and I went directly to the new projection setting in the Custombrush panel; really, interesting feature! Creates a lot of interesting possibilities for new custombrushes. One thing I find myself wishing for straight away is the ability to control the projection of the brush so that I can exaggerate or, if I'd want to, pull back the amount of projection on the brush when I tilt my stylus. I'm thinking of a Profile Editor curve with the projection linked to the amount of tilt.
Do you think this is possible? If it is I'll make it a feature request immediately!
I can see so many possibilities for creating more expressive brushes where one would be able to control the sharpness of a brush with a tilt of the stylus if this feature was expanded.

Re: TVPaint 10.5.0
Hahaha, I agree with you. When we designed the new "projection" tools for the Tool Bin, we had the same reaction than you.
Anyway, at the moment, you can have an influence on the projection following the sensibility of your wacom.

Yes, the 'Tilt Sensitivity' in the Wacom Tablet properties panel. I tried it but it doesn't give a lot of control, I find. A bit too rough for creating responsive brushes.Elodie wrote:...

Thanks for moving the thread to Feature Requests. Hopefully that means that it is possible.

Re: Improving "Projection" parameter
We all agree the request makes sense.
It's possible, but not so easy to do : many parameters are in competition to have good results for the projections (Size, Projection, altitude, Wacom drivers, ... )
so be patient
