Pixel Interpolation CP

Post by TVPaint »

Hi all,
Please find below a Custom Panel which allows you to enhance the Pixel Interpolation Display using the Smooth button and to get the default setting back using the Default button.
It can be very useful to use the Smooth option when you're working with a large zooming scale.
Enjoy !

Really nice feature. Thanks.
I don't understand too much of this kind of things. Why one can't keep their files in a smooth mode all the time??
Can someone explain to me how this interpolation works..Just interested cause I use scaling a lot.

This feature is realtime display antialiasing. It does not affect the image itself in any way, but stops things from looking choppy at 178% zoom

Hi elmisilhumano,

You don't need the smooth mode when you do pixel art. When the smooth option is activate you have not the pixel precision so you can not do pixel art. So these 2 modes are necessary.

Merci beaucoup !

I spend a lot of time zoomed in to add fine details. This is very useful to me.
