When quitting TVP
When quitting TVP
The "Quit Warning Save Modifications" menu has been confusing me since the Mirage days.
I hope this image explains why it confuses me...
If the menu would just get the "Don't save", "Cancel", "Save" buttons, it would actually be a very worthy update to me.

Re: When quitting TVP
I agree wholeheartedly. Even after a few years of using TvPaint it hurts my brain everytime I get this question.

Re: When quitting TVP
To me this is a sensible warning. You may have spent half a day making your modifications using a test project for which you have no use anymore, thus not worth saving upon exit. This is a different kind of warning than Word requires.

BIG +1 !
I totally agree with Lukas!
But my biggest problem is when I want to close a project:
http://www.joostlieuwma.nl/temp/screen6.png
It always feels like I have to solve a riddle when I want close a project.
The problem starts when I'm not 100 percent sure that I changed something after I saved the project. Other programs will always ask: do you want to save? and give you three options don't save/cancel/save. So I always use "save" to be sure my project is saved. In tvpaint if I not 100 percent sure I first have to choose "NO" (which is the opposite of all other programs) and then I have to save, and then I can quit again.
So please change this into: "do you rally want to close? close/cancel/save" or "do you want to save don't save/cancel/save"

Re: When quitting TVP
The problem is:
You think tvpaint is going to ask:
This project is not saved, do you want to save (like all other programs)? "YES!"
but in stead of that tvpaint asks: This project is not saved, do you want to close? "YES" I mean NO, NO, NO... too late...

Re: When quitting TVP
Well, I agree that it's not like in other software, but anyway, it looks clear
Save and quit : you save the file and then you quit the software
Leave : you leave the software without quitting
Stay : you don't save and you stay in the software
But okay, we will change the localization
We will also change the behavior noticed by Joost, when you close a project.

Give us a heads-up when you do though, because I fear it's going to be a pretty mindfuck for the TVP users who are unaware of this (quite important) changeElodie wrote:...

*bumps the topic*
Localisation changed
Will be for 10.5, as there probably won't be another small update before 10.5 launches (soon).
