Audio loading but no sound

I'm using a Samsung galaxy note 8.0 Android os 4.2
All the features work great expect for my sound!
It loads well, the little speaker is on and volume maximised.
The sound just doesn't play, I've tried wav mp3 mp4, no sound is heard at playback!

Please help!

It's normal, in the current version you are using, the sound is not working. It should be available in a next update
