Availability gap between open beta and commercial release

Hello,

I am counting on buying TVPaint for Android as soon as it is released (if it is, indeed, released...) and was wondering if there will be an availability gap between when the open beta turns off and when the commercial release is available. (i.e. a period where the open beta has expired and TVPaint is not for sale on android)
