looping the timeline

Post by cresshead »

maybe i should get a printer and print out the help file...but! :)

when you loop the timeline is there an option to ping-pong the loop so it plays forwards then backwards in the loop?

for example plays 0 to 50 the 50-0 the 0-50 etc....looping in that fashion as this helps get a feel for animation moves...

hi Cress,
a workaround consists to add a double-length -1 image-layer (empty) at top of your timeline,
and set the AnimLayer post-behavior to "ping-pong",
on your exemple, anim-layer = 50i, empty image-layer = 99i
(drag the right-handle while reading the length up to 99 in the timeline top-bar),
so a preview play in loop mode would plays indifinitely your anim in ping-pong mode. 8)
