As I mentioned in another thread, I find tigerknight's roll drawings macro to be the very best flipping system! I would love to see this system integrated into TVPaint.
Why it's so good:
- lets you hold down a key to see and work on prior frames, rather than either flipping back instantly or flipping through.
- lets you flip backward and forward with the fewest keypresses for inbetweening.
- lets you flip a chosen number of drawings, just as you would roll drawings between your fingers. In this sense it is intuitive because the hand can know how far back you'll flip because each finger flips back a certain distance.
