I painted up the key frames of my film in Synthetik StudioArtist, and now want to inbetween in TVP (which I just bought). The dilemma is getting brushes in TVP to match up with the originals. I'm posting a pic of some brush strokes in the hope that someone will know how to create something that works like these.
What makes the StudioArtist brushes so appealing to me is that the drag patterns of the brushes stretch over the drag rather than just repeat. I can't seem to be able to duplicate that behaviour in TVP.
Anyone have any ideas? suggestions?

Hi Sharon,
We can reproduce some of them.
I will post a panel for you this evening. (I'm in California right now.)

Fabulous! thanks Fabrice.
Re: brushes with drag pattern that stretches over the drag
here it is.
The icons are not pretty, but the tools should imitate some of those you have posted. (nb the last one is mostly due to artifacts, it's not the normal behavior of the tool involved)
With more time, I should be able to do something closer to your picture.
At least you now have some ideas to create and use custombrushes.

Thanks Fabrice! I'm excited to try them. Will let you know if they work for the film.

Re: brushes with drag pattern that stretches over the drag
i quickly tried a few drag patterns but its not easy to make them look really good.
maybe you can use some of them.
and note that you can adjust their appearance drastically by changing some settings.
for instance try setting anim from loop to pressure

Re: brushes with drag pattern that stretches over the drag
Thanks Peter, really appreciated. I'll play around with them.
It is hard to get the brushes in TVPaint to drag in a smooth, evolving morph over time, but they do loop the brush pattern really well.
