tutorial on creating great brushes?

Does anyone know of a tutorial that's more in depth than the manual for creating new brushes?

I'm not aware of any. I've found my solutions through long experimentation, which is what I recommend to you. Start with something simple, one image only, and tweak the controls to see what's possible.

Thanks for that. I checked it out and it was really helpful. I could also use some good info on creating brushes from custom brush cut patterns.
