Copy/Paste Blur

For me the blur is always noticable - but this may stem from my preference for a very crisp line, which, when transformed to non-integer values, immediately is blurred. Anyway, I decided to not care about it since it isn't visible in finished and coloured animation.

I just had an Idea - why not to make an option to set the texture to turn off automatically, as soon as I select an area with cut-brush tool. I wonder, is there anybody, who actually is using a cut-brush tool to draw immediately after selecting it and how many of those would want to keep the current texture on? In my opinion turning texture off by default on a cut-brush tool, or at least to have an option to decide, would be a partial solution.

Well, it is a brush cutter ! It is used to cut brushes, in order to draw with what you have just cut ! Personnally, I use the brush cutter to create brushes, so I want to keep papers on !

And the rare cases I use the brush cutter to move an element from my drawing or from a photo, I don't care about papers, I'm not using them when I modify an image !

So, for me, it's totally nonsense to turn-off papers when using the brush cutter. Yes, developers could add a preference, but seriously, I think they have other most important features to develop than lose time with something like this.
And if you really want to turn off paper when using the brush cutter, create your own button : open windows, then go to custom panel and open a new tool bar. Right click on the tool bar and "add an action". You will have a window where you can add a line command ( tv_paper Active 0) and a line to use a bush cutter (key : brush : freehand or rectangle).

TVP is very versatile, you can use it in many many different ways.
It is great that you explain how you are using the tools, but please don't judge the way others like to use it.
The improvement of tvp is best served if everyone here can freely share his/hers experience
Then the development team can decide what is nonsense and what not.

sorry for the preaching i'm sure you mean well but your tone could be taken as deriding, so please try to have an open mind for what other users may need.

Did you find a solution to the "select parts of a drawing, copy (ctrl+C) , paste (ctrl+V) onto an other frame" discussion from back then?

do you mean the "Stamp in Place" function ?
if it's that, set the smooth option to "None",
otherwise, set it "Smart".

Karpay has asked about the way to copy/paste parts of drawing to another frame
as ai said in private msg - use either Custob brush selection tool, either normal selection tool and then copy to brush. after that use Stamp in Place on any other frame. you can also stamp the selection with simply clicking the pen - use it as a brush.
don't forget to set your smoothing to smart
