Problem with drawing tablet

Post by strike1980 »

Hi,

I downloaded TVPaint Animation demo today, and really really like this software. Absolutely going to buy it after trial-period, IF: I get somehow solved my problem.

I have AIPTEK hyperpen 12000U drawing tablet, and it works fine in every other software and normal windows use, but when I start TVPaint animation, starts happening weird things. I use resolution 1920x1200 (24" TFT) and when using my drawing tablet at TVPaint: about 14 cm from right, and 7 cm from bottom disappears or how should I say it: becomes unaccessible. When crossing those lines, the cursos jumps to other side of monitor. When using mouse, there is no problems.

I think I have latest drivers.

What should I do? Is there anyway to solve this problem? If somebody has AIPTEK also, I would appreciate all comments.

hmmm... not sure it will solve your problem,
but have you tried the "Tablet : No Subpixel" option in Preference Panel?

Thanks for your answer, and screenshot; but it didn't help :-/

I have played around with this software now over 8 hours, and I got this idea, if Aiptek won't work with TVPaint, maybe I just should bye Wacom :)

OR ? Does Wacom work without problems with TVPaint or are there problems too?

Hi Strike1980,

We didn't have the opportunity to test this Aiptek tablet but TVP Animation supports every kind of Wintab compatible tablets and that's the case with yours, so ... we are on it.
Aiptek latest drivers are 2.28, if you could please check with your version...

Btw, we have several Intuos 2 and 3 here and it works perfectly.
