I'm trying to press space which is the default assigned key to play the animation. However it doesn't work anymore for some reason. Anyone know how to fix it?
Right now I'm using (W) which is Preview Flipbook I think to view as it works but I would like to get the real play button fixed. I tried re-assigning keys and restarting the program and nothing worked.

Re: Preview:Play button not working
Are you saying that you have Preview: Play assigned to your keyboard SPACE key and it doesn't make the project play? What happens if you assign that command to another key as a test?

Re: Preview:Play button not working
Originally, SPACE is assigned to right click, if combined with a left click.
Re: Preview:Play button not working
An other tip : Make sure that the "Mark In" is not equal as "Mark Out"

Re: Preview:Play button not working
thanks for response.
Right now Space is Assigned to (Preview: Play) which is what I assume to be the play button. When I press it nothing happens. When I try assigning Preview: Play to another key, nothing happens with the different key as well. Which makes me think something's making the function for the play button not work since the keys themselves are working in other programs such as MS Word.
@Fabrice, what do you mean by "Mark In" and "Mark Out"?
EDIT: Also, I should mention that I have just tested it on another new project and the Space/Play key works fine on that project. This probably narrows it down to something I did in the current project I'm doing. If I'm correct I could probably just copy the layers of the old project into the new project and hopefully that would allow me to just continue without a hitch. But if possible I'd like to find a solution so I can fix it and know what went wrong should this happen again.
So here's what I know so far.
1. SPACE/PREVIEW:PLAY button does not work.
2. Re-assigning the keey does not work.
3. It only seems to be an issue on the current project I am working on. When starting a new project, it works fine.

Re: Preview:Play button not working
Based on what you just said now it looks more like Fabrice has hit the button on the nose. To the left and right of your playback controls you can see Mark Out and Mark In. If they are lit, uncheck them at everything should work for you. The little arrows next to these signs let you mark the in and out frames with a green and red marker.

Re: Preview:Play button not working (SOLVED)
yep, we plan to add a warning when "Mark-in" = "Mark-out" in a clip.
