timeline display options

Post by cumbaraquimbara »

Hi
I was working with an animation layer making drawings frame by frame. the layer changed and now I can't work on it. I don´t know why.

Before it looked like this
before: frames were separated
before: frames were separated
separados.jpg (50.51 KiB) Viewed 11077 times
Now they are united and I can´t work on it
united frames not editable
united frames not editable
united.jpg (35.02 KiB) Viewed 11077 times
Maybe I did something accidentally in the layer. How I convert the layer to an animation editable layer??
any suggestion??

See the little "Z"? Click and drag it. This expands and compresses the timeline. Under a certain compression it can't display individual frames, that's all.

You are not giving enough information, so for starters just a guess; have you tried highlighting the second layer and hitting "R" (recompute) in the Instance Panel? It will turn all the instance frames into image frames. Is this what you need?

yes, with the Z button I can display every frame to work on them. So simple.

and next to the Z, under that auto fit button you can choose fit to exposures to have the optimal zoom to still manage individual frames.
