join clip

Post by hilere »

When using TVP for storyboard I do all the panels in one clip. Afterwards I use the clip/splitclip option to separate the scenes. Is there an option to join them up again afterwards without having to open each TimeLine and copy/paste everything back together in the same timeline?

Have you tried selecting "Render Camera to a new Project" under Project in the main menu bar?

Nope, because it's problematic : how should we merge the different layers together ? Should we "merge" the layers from clip 2 after layers from clip 1 ? If so, what if there are 3 layers in clip 2 and only 1 layer in clip 1 ? What if all layers in clip 1 don't have the same duration ? Should we "cut / paste" layers from clip 2 above or below layers from clip 1 ?

etc..

So, at the moment, you have to merge them manually.

Hervé created a .tvpx to copy layers from next clip and paste them after the layers of current clip.
