Hi I'm wondering if theres a way to set a keyboard command to allow me to flip between drawings such as when I'm holding down the hand button on the remote control.
I've been able to make it preview, (I think it's called something like flipbook preview) but it only plays frames forward. I'm looking for something to allow me to use the flipper tool only, and be able to scroll back and forth between frames (like paper!)
thanks very much

On the Keyboard I use the forward arrow key to advance to next frame, backward arrow to go back to previous frame , so toggling back and forth between those two will "flip" between frames . But I rarely use the actual keys on the keyboard, instead I had those keys programmed on two of the Express Keys on my Wacom tablet which I toggle back and forth to flip. I've also used a Griffin Powermate USB controller for the same purpose. (some people use a game controller, with functions like "flipping" between frames , zoom in/zoom out , etc. programmed) You can customize the hotkeys you want in the Preferences.

You can RMB click on the little hand and it'll do what you want. Also go to the Preview settings panel (Window tab in top toolbar panel>Windows>Preview Settings) and set the length of the playback in the FlipBok window.

Re: flipping hot key?
thanks yeah i tried the preview flip but i wanted a key specifically for the flipper tool so that I would not have to click the mouse at all while flipping.
For example, if I had "f" set to flip, if i held "f" down, I would be able to flip through the animation just as normal paper would.
So far I still haven't found a way to perform this particular function
