Merging background image with animation

This is a very basic question I'm sure but I don't have too much time. I've opened my background image into Tvpaint and I need to import my animation jpegs into it, how would I got about doing this??

Load your JPEGs on the layer above your background layer.

and don't forget to uncheck "Single Frame" to load the whole sequence of jpg.

And also when you import the JPEGs to the layer above the background layer you will need to run the Scan Cleaner (from the FX Stack) on the animation layer to turn the drawings transparent so you can see the BG layer .

Or if you have TVP Pro you can change the Blending Mode on the animation layer to "Multiply" to see the BG layer under the animation drawings.
