Pricing

Post by chipmandoo »

Hi. I was wondering if you were going to offer an educational licence?

Also maybe a reduced crossgrade price from existing versions (mirage etc), to help users out who want/need the new fixes?

Thanks

Hey Chris,
Of course we offer both Educational and Upgrade licences.
Please note that the student version we are offering doesn't require any upgrade to become a full commercial version, it's already one since you can prove your student status with a copy of your student card !

You can upgrade to TVP Animation as well from existing versions.

You can check prices all of this on the page mentioned by Tantalus.

Regards,
N.

What happens when you finish being a student, and wish to do commercial work with it? Would you have to rebuy/upgrade it in that case?

(**)Educational versions gather teachers/student/school orders for Edu 1 and 5 seats. The Student licence is not limited to 365 days anymore, it's unlimited. There will be no need to upgrade to a full commercial licence then but the student have to purchase via the his/her school. That will replace the copy of the student card.
genius, no?

When you finish your student curse, you will not have to pay anything in order to keep using TVP Animation (even if it is for commercial use). As Ubik said, the license is time unlimited! Plus the Educational price for TVP Animation is accessible (If you have 4 friends that wanted too TVP Animation, it is so more accesible with the Edu 5 version => 5 Educational license for the price of one Full version)
See here for more details.

You should only pay if you want to purchase our next software but you certainly have reduced prices as we do now to upgrade Mirage to TVP Animation.
