Re: mm pond-clip
i like the animation style of the guy wrestling the coelacanth(?).
Though in terms of the action it looks like a man pretending to hold on to a struggling fish, the fish itself is far to still to account for the mans hectic movements, it doesn't look like its causing the struggle.

Re: mm pond-clip
I agree with Peter. A struggling fish of that size would actually be hard for anybody to hold onto for more than a couple of seconds, unless the man would dig is hands into the fish's gills. The fish would even then start flipping from side to side and whip his body about in all directions. A more natural action of the man would be for him to grab the fish in the shallow water and toss it ashore, where he would then attempt to pin it to the ground.

That reminds me Old Japanese CM "Hatoya Hotel".
A young boy carried skipjack tuna, but tuna struggled and run away from bind.

First I must admit that I have no personal experience with clutching fishes ( I can't stand to see animals in suffering pain), so it's all on the imaginative side for me. That's why am so uncertain about it.
Taking into account that much depends on how much life has been left to the fish I feel that the problem is much more the relations of motions (fish vs fisherman), which I didn't get.
ten_zero, thanks for the clip which reminds me how slippery a fish can be.

Re: mm pond-clip
You're making an interesting point with that catfish clip, Klaus. But I'd still have the man hold the fish by its gills, especially if he's a man of the sea.
