How to change the size of the project
How to change the size of the project
hello
i want to know if there is possibility to make a rough animation sketches in low dimension first... then cleaning and posting in HD dimension from the same project
i know i can make it in small size then export and import again in the new size project but then i will lose the dimension position of my character and needed to edit it one by one
if their any trick or way to solve it
thanks

Re: How to change the size of the project
You can go to Project > Modify Project. Not sure if that's what you're after.

Re: How to change the size of the project
You don't have to do that. When you import something of a different size into a project, check "stretch to project size" (and "correct aspect" to preserve proportions). What you import will be re-sized to your actual project.

that would be the Crop toolHosni wrote: so are there such option like in painter that add pixels space in (top , bottom , side, left)??

Main Panel, second row, button nr 4
if you reset this tool (use the tool panel for this) the bounding box(red lines) aligns itself with your project and then you can use the little squares to add extra space to your project.
after you click crop (again in the tool panel) TVP copies the project to a new one with the new dimensions, so you also have the old one still there.

Re: How to change the size of the project
This seems like the perfect place to ask...i hope you dont mind me using your thread Hosni : )
I have a question..I have a scene I am working on. I want to do a pan shot so Im using the camera tool, but i need to expand the canvas to the left in order for it tp work. I tried to crop the scene but it turned to crop every scene in my project too. Is there a way I can change the size of just that one individual scene in the animation without effecting the others?
Note:
I also tried Modify Project
I know one solution is to simply make a whole new file, but I was hoping I could prevent that some how.

Re: How to change the size of the project
There is no other way. At this point a project can hold clips of only the same size. You have to take the clip out of the project and turn it into a new project of a different size, but it's no big deal is it?

Re: How to change the size of the project
I should have mentioned that if you RMB on top of the clip or selected clips in the project tab, at the bottom of the menu you'll see "Create a new project from selected clips" and then you can rename and modify the new project and delete the clip from the original project.
