Issue with fine pen brush

Ever since version 9.5 I've been having a small problem with the pen brush at small sizes. The screenshot below illustrates:



Each line/circle is drawn with a single stroke, maintaining even pressure throughout. Notice the abrupt change in thickness at the peak of each curve (less noticeable when drawing a heavier line). It wasn't a big deal so I didn't bother bringing it up after the 9.5 patch, but it seems to have gone unnoticed. I do like to use the pen tool for fine line work so it does affect my workflow. Anybody else notice this problem?

try to avoid the flat starting part of the curve at 0 (size/pressure profile).

The problem persists even with a linear curve. I tried installing TVP 9 from the disc and the problem disappeared. At some point, an update introduced the issue (9.5.3 if I recall correctly).

outch... 9.5.3 ??? that's an old thing ...
make a fresh updape first, the last build should be 9.5.11 if I'm correct.
