He's added 50 new pages. More on animal movements I think, which I'm interested in.
Although I disagree with his handed down theory about 'unplug' the music... so I'll be tempted to say that.

I actually agree with it... playing music is distracting for me, because I want to be listening to the music rather than focusing on the art...

I remember I only listened to the music when making tedious tasks, where you don't really have to think : clean, "click and paint".... But when animating, it could bother me too.
Re: Richard Williams - Animation MasterClass animated line up
depends on the music for me. Some nice ambient electronica and I'm racing with ideas. I guess thrashy guitars with vocals might interupt the flow.
But you maybe right, it depends on what tasks you may be doing.
So rather than NO MUSIC UNPLUG the rule should be PAUSE WHEN REQUIRED.

Will there be a discount if you upgrade from TASK 1.0?

The real problem I have is that I can't turn off my "music analysis" mode (as I also am a composer), if I hear music I start analyzing it and then I can't focus on the artworkBenEcosse wrote:depends on the music for me. Well, Richard's proposal is common to Zen and Shakyou (transcribing) in Japan.Paul Fierlinger wrote:NEVER LISTEN TO MUSIC!!!!WHEN!!!YOU!!!WORK!!!!!
Concentrating on silence and Mu (null or nothing) creation by one point, we will be more, more done good work.
However, how many strike as experience by Keisaku(a Zen stick, to strike your sholder for cautions and encouragement)before ?
