Online SDK
Online SDK
Couldnt it be nice to have the SDK and especially the george commands online as a wikipedia then we could help each other to keep it up to date and with code examples etc

Re: Online SDK
Great idea.
An online wiki where we could store examples, tutorials, code snippets in a structured way would be nice.
I've worked a lot with MediaWiki which is what wikipedia runs on. It's very simple for end users to work with.

And I'm also used to mediawiki like ken
Re: Online SDK
Yeah like Mads says once it's up and running users can update everything like wikipedia, in fact it's what wikipedia runs on.
I can write some help pages for new users to get started if needed, I've used it many times for documentation and manuals, it's very easy to use. If you can post on a forum you can use it.
The beauty of the wiki system is that everyone can correct each others errors and add things, so with time it just gets better and better.
We have a wealth of knowledge here with all the users that could be shared and benefit everyone.
Most webhosts have cPanel with a module called "Site Software" where it can be installed from, if it's not there the host just needs to add it and it's a couple clicks to install.

Re: Online SDK
I use mediawiki on my local intranet for documenting and storing everything I need to remember for years so I'm pretty used to it, installing it, installing extensions, admin backend, skinning, creating templates, .htaccess config etc..

I remember Lemec have started something like this some times ago,
at least for listing all the Magic numbers available, as a begining.

Re: Online SDK
Fabrice, If needed I can break down the installation so it's easy to follow, I've installed mediawiki many times.
