Is there a way to stamp the cutbrush and then nudge it a couple pixels from the original position via the keyboard and stamp again?
I use this a lot for textures with texture brushes, stamp, change lightness, stamp again a couple pixels offset depending on where the light is comming from, but it's hard to be presize enough with the hands so I end up undoing a lot until I get it right. I could duplicate layers and offset them from eachother but that's a lot more work.

Re: nudge a cutbrush?
I've used the keyframer for this kind of thing before, using also UNDO until I get it right.
And you're right, you could duplicate layers and nudge with the transform command if it's only a pixel or two.

I was searching around a bit and stumbled on a post by ZigOtto that solves this problem:
Lastly bind a key to Tools:Draw dot
Now I can simply place the brush around the area where I want it, nudge the whole canvas and hit my draw dot shortcut. So instead of nudging the brush you nudge the canvas instead.
After creating the buttons they can be assigned to a shortcut with control+k.ZigOtto wrote: create and name these 4 buttons :
- a) [Pan X-] with action = [command : tv_Panning -1 0 0]
- b) [Pan X+] with action = [command : tv_Panning 1 0 0]
- c) [Pan Y-] with action = [command : tv_Panning 0 -1 0]
- d) [Pan Y+] with action = [command : tv_Panning 0 1 0]

Although it strongly reminds me of one old lightbulb joke: how many East Frisians do you need to change a lightbulb?
