Help!
I tried to export an avi today and TVPaint shows the exporting progress bar at 0% for a moment then returns to the export screen. I've tried with any other export settings, including a single JPG, but TVPaint just stays at the export control screen.
I've used it sucessfully on this computer previously but have no idea what could have changed to disable these settings. Everything else in TVPaint is working as far as I've tested. I tried rebooting and upgrading my version (now running 8.6.4) but to no avail.
I'm using Windows Vista Home Edition, Intel quad core processor, 6GB ram 750GB hard drive if any of that is helpful...
Thanks for any suggestions/help!!

Can't Export!
Re: Can't Export!
1. Did you check "sequence", not "single image"?
2. Was the video file you were saving to still open in another program?
3. Did you accidently choose a codec like H.264?

Re: Can't Export!
Thanks for the quick reply!
The images/sequence aren't open in any other program - I tried restarting and having TVPaint the only program running.
I've tried exporting single image or sequences - neither will work. I can't do a mov, avi, gif, jpg, etc. Tried starting a new project and just drawing a single line - same problem, can't export any setting. I've tried different compression settings on the animation settings.
When I tried .avi it just went to 0% completed then back, when I tried .mov it said 'Can't Create File'.
Eeks!

Re: Can't Export!
hm ... now it gets complicated.
- Could you try and save it to a different volume/drive?
- Did you always name it differently?

Perhaps you are exporting to a directory where your user doesn't have permission? Do you have UAC turned on?

Re: Can't Export!
Are you sure that the correct codec (the one selected in the export options) is installed on your system?
Maybe the selected one is not one of the codecs installed on your system.
