This animation is quite good : it's very fluent and, well rythmic. This dark mood in the "50's polar" is well represented by the blue and black tones. And by the way, what an original story ! So terrible, I would like to know who's got this frightening idea

Well, original? It's the "Torture Organ" by Monthy Python, or the "Muppophon" from the Muppet show which clearly lends a hint or two here.

But the combination of that with some Jack the Ripper and Cats and Jazz works quite well.

If only it was British humor, the brits would be the best nation in the world. This is Monty Python humor, and them only.

hMmm, I don't really agree with you, because I still find the same... "thing" (I'm sorry Asaf, I don't know English enough to well express myself) in British humour, the same... "crazy mind" => Adam Douglas, Terry Pratchett, Monty Python...

But I agree, all these British have their own humour (even if, we still find the same.... the same... *sigh*, you've understood  )

Monthy Python not british humour!? i believe thats a rather silly remark.
Check out Spike Milligan's Goon show:

Thats where, among others, the Pyhtons got their inspiration.
And there is tons of later brilliant and "awefully" British stuff like:
A Bit of Fry and Laurie

The Fast show:

Black adder:
etc...etc...

But despite their superior sense of humour of course no country that gave the world warm beer could apply for the titel of best nation in the world,.
The best nation in the world is France... everybody knows that
