Why do I like this?

I came upon this by chance and never checked the story behind the piece (I'm sure there is one, but I don't care). There are lots of small, unsettling things that bother me, but there is also something grand to the way it's done that makes me not want to dwell on the chicken stuff. Actually, I wish I wouldn't like it at all but it won't let me do that.

the like the slow pace of the music, takes away from the jerkyness of the animation/photo stills.

I agree, it's a little too "epileptic" sometimes (even if there is some good animation moments).

I do really like Light painting. It's a really hard photogrpahic art : no eraser, don't failed your light drawing ^^

Some other good example of what you can make in light painting :

I can begin to imagine how hard that must be to do. If my understanding of how it is done is correct, shouldn't you always see the person drawing it in the frame?

not when he is really in the dark, and when he draws very fast, holding the light source as far distant from the body, (also you can hinder the light going back by adapting a funnel-shape to shade the beams backward.
