Intuous 4 mouse

Post by masterchief »

I purchased the large Intuous 4 graphics tablet today... it appears that the mouse and TVPaint are very much in agreement with Intuous 4...

It works on my system.. although there is NO WAY mouse response anywhere comes close to using a stylus for drawing.

It won't budge on my system and I could have really used it the other day when my Logitech mouse went suddenly kaput as I worked in TVP. I needed to save what I was working on; hell, I needed to close TVP properly and couldn't do anything with my pen because it was mapped only to the project panel area. I couldn't do anything but a forced shutdown of my computer. If I had had a working Intuos mouse, no matter how cumbersome, it would have been a lifesaver.

I had to go to the closest computer store and splurged on a MX Revolution Logitech mouse and people, it's worth every dime to me! What a marvelous mouse! Shape, size, weight and features -- all very nicely put together.

shift-S?

or alt-F4 which closes the current program and then turns off the computer...

Thanks. I forgot all about that one and that would have done it. Live and learn to remember. :|

You made me go and dig out my old Wacom mouse Paul. From now on I'll keep it handy 'cause I've had my Intellimouse go dead on me a couple of times recently!

Regardless of Intuos version, the mouse is supposed to have a partial relationship with TVP:
If you have sub-pixel turned off, it works.
If you have Sub-pixel turned on, it should be as alive as a paperweight.
