Hi everyone.
I'm actually a venerable user of tvpaint software, and I have been using it since 1996.
I knew about Aura 2.0 when it came out but the interface was too intimidating. I kept going back to 1.0 I never knew it kept going so, I'm glad the software's still alive and kicking.
anyway.
The reason of this post, and the reason I came to know about new tvpaint(s) is because a need of mine, which is to record and export a whole drawing session.
I used to do this in aura by recording strokes, and then applying it to the animation frames. It worked for me, but it was still strenous as it didn't register color or brush changes, so I had to do all of them separately. And at any rate, I need to do this particular project in bigger than HD resolution, and aura doesn't work well like that.
I've seen one particular thread in here in which it's mentioned that 8.5 can record sessions, and the user can choose if it should record a single layer or the whole canvas (which would be invaluable)
and 9 could do this as well to some extent.
so, what I want to learn is
Where can I find extensive information about how this feature works (from recording to pausing to applying it to frames to exporting if possible )
Where the bloody panel for doing this is (in both versions -8.5 and 9- preferrably)
What would be the cheapest option for me to be able to do this.
thanks a lot beforehand.
Recording and exporting a drawing session
Re: Recording and exporting a drawing session
in tvpa 8.x , you can load the demo recorder panel in the sharing content section ,goran wrote:... Where the bloody panel for doing this is (in both versions -8.5 and 9- preferrably)
in tvpa V9 >> from the main menu : windows/Drawing Recorder Panel (way much powerful !)
in the manual, goran wrote:... Where can I find extensive information about how this feature works (from recording to pausing to applying it to frames to exporting if possible ... )
then "trial and error" method, the best one to learn by oneself.
