Captain Future and the Starwolves of Nebulon (WIP)

Post by DAVID GUIVANT »

Hi, everyone,

If you're unfamiliar with my work, I have been directing and producing the project called INVINCIBLE IRON MAN TV SHOW which is featured on the internet. As a fan of classic Animes and Mangas I am now working on a new project called : CAPTAIN FUTURE, inspired by the SCI-FI Classic created by Edmond Hamilton and the Japanese Anime from the 70's. The main character is Curtis Newton, a brilliant scientist and adventurer who roams the solar system solving problems, righting wrongs, and vanquishing futuristic supervillains.

The hero himself had many incarnations and different features, depending on various artist's impressions, my project takes places 5 years after the events described in the Novels and the Anime. Here's 20 seconds of the project that will come out late December 2010:

Not yet, but I will be moving to the U.S.A, it'll be easier to purchase softwares to finish and enhance my project.
I figured that I might try TV PAINT.

After seeing your post I had to look up New Caladonia to brush up on my geography. An interesting history, to say the least. Is there a lot of CG work going on there? Are there local venues to cater to or do you have to compete with the rest of the world to get jobs anywhere in the world? I guess what I am asking is if there is an advantage to being from such a small island country by being a big fish in a small pond -- or is there simply no pond there whatsoever?

Nothing much here I'm afraid. So moving to the States will expend my mind thus having a great deal of choices for softwares and programs, even interesting prices.

Well, I wish you all the best, emigration is difficult for anyone to endure and if you are ever close to Philadelphia, please feel welcome to stop by and chat. I've been an emigrant more than once in my lifetime (including a stint of illegality in France -- not fun) so I have empathy.
