some custombrushes

Post by peterwassink »

a custom panel with some brushes
(2 of them use the brush from Fabrice that is default in the custombrushbin)

take care because the step setting is not saved (BUG!)
so they will always be on step
for the best effect you need to switch step off or set it lower

Some brushes here, in a much smaller form. Papers to follow :)

As well as a compare and contrast to how much superior these brushes are for TVP Animation vs the old Mirage, with the new custom brush system, options and controls - in comparison to the way they existed in the old freebies (Evar's Extras for Mirage - that are now obsolete) - (old samples here - http://www.thephi.com/content/view/48/64/)

The default size is 30% connected to pressure, but it can go up to dynamically to 100% to make for quite a large brush (unlike Mirage).
The default pressure is 15% for most, 10% for some, and 35% for a few - this can also be changed on the fly.
And of course they are set to connect Angle to Direction.

Also, default connection to Alpha - so that you can paint on with any color.

let me know if you have any problems

And for Mac OSX?

Post by ubik »

Hi evar

please, don't forget the mac user and give us a simple version for mac os x. Not only for PC with an installer .exe!

ThanX for all and good work for your brushes.

I'll look into an .exe and something for the mac (though I dont have one :) ) - but really, its just a matter of creating a new custom panel and importing the .bin file : which shouldnt be OS specific. - though if there is no 'install', I suppose there is no UNinstall either...
