TVPAPro : 20 styles

Post by Manuel »

Here is a zip file containing 20 bin files for the FX Stack.
These effects apply fantasy style to shapes or texts, minimum details should be 20 pixels wide.
For TVPaint Animation Pro only.

can you tell me where this folder, or just the loose files if that's the case, should be placed in tvp 8.6.2 mac?
thanks

Anywhere, then you extract the .zip, you get a folder full of .bin files.
Obviously a safe place is better :)

Then :
In the FX Stack window, in the 'Bin' popup, you select "Import..." and then select one of the .bin files.
Repeat for each additional .bin file.

i see!

can i ask- do you keep files like this in your tvp application folder? or elsewhere? i've been trying to solve this mystery and asked around but no answer yet: if i put files like this in my tvp app folder (where i would think they should be stored :? ), and then from tvp try to import or export them (as in this case from the fx stack), i can't navigate to the tvp app folder as it is ghosted-out and not selectable.

so... maybe they don't belong there!

thanks for your ideas,
charlie

In TVPAP when you Import something, TVPAP will copy it to the right place itself,
so these files dont' belong inside TVPAP's folder, TVPAP will take care of this.
When you Load something, it is just for this sessions, when you quit TVPAP it is lost if you didn't save the changes.
Also this means once imported, you can remove them, but it's always safer to keep them in a warn place just in case...
