The Vegas Movie Studio Platinum Pro Pak is a pretty good package, if you are on a tighter budget-- it comes with SoundForge, Cinescore and 1001 sound effects as well. I think it's under $150 and a good compromise if you don't need all of the high-end features of Vegas Pro
