Hello,
just a simple question: is scripting entirely impossible with the standard version?
All I need is export of my project frame-by-frame AND layer-by-layer at the same time (something like layer1/000.png, layer1/001.png, layer2/000.png etc.), so I probably need a script to do that for me. Is there a way to do it with the standard version, which is otherwise totally sufficient for me?
Thanks,
Pavel
Scripting in the standard version
Re: Scripting in the standard version
Export will always render visible layers only, so all you have to do is to export in several passes, in each only switching the wanted layers visible. Take care on the naming of your export files!

Re: Scripting in the standard version
Thanks, but this would take forever if I exported some 50 animations for my game, each in 10 steps for each layer. That would take forever. So I'm afraid I do need to run a script. The question is - can I do this in the standard version?

Yes, you can, scripting capabilities are same on both versions.paveld wrote:Thanks, but this would take forever if I exported some 50 animations for my game, each in 10 steps for each layer. That's great news, thanks! I was just a bit confused about the version comparison table that only mentions the George panel not being available in the standard edition...
Thanks again!
