Hi,
I've already read around here that this problem has been around earlier. There was some indication that it had been solved, but I'm sorry to report otherwise.
On loading sound - any sound (mp3, wav, aif) tvpaint crashes, that is - the program quits.
One example of sound would be "boing.wav" from your own collection of samples.
My rig: Mac Pro 08, leopard 10.5.6, Quicktime 7.6, Tvpaint 9.05
Loading the same sound in Tvpaint 9.05 on the same computer in bootcamp with Windows xp, works. So it's clearly a mac problem. Could it be the new version (7.6) of quicktime? I haven't used sound in tvpaint before so I have nothing to compare with.
I hope you find what's wrong.
Cheers,
Christian Paulsson

Re: Tvpaint 9.05 std on mac crashes on loading sound
Ok, I loaded the sound from the timeline instead than from the menu, and then it worked! And after that the menu command started working too. Strange. Some kind of instability here. I'll keep working and see what happens...
