ILoveSketch -- Natural 3D sketching

This is pretty neat, hand-drawn 3D imagery:

impressive!

to freehand draw 3-4 times the same stroke,
and press a hotkey for "cleaning" = rendering the "average" stroke
is a feature I would like to have in a bitmap app. 8)

Impressive indeed.

I agree, this would make a great feature. Maybe not even a shortcut key, but a tool that averages strokes.
Or maybe a tool that averages the lines of an existing rough pencil sketch.

well, my idea was to give to the software a "start" and "stop" points to set the nb of strokes to average,
something like "Start Recording Strokes" and "Stop Rec. and Average recorded Strokes" commands,
the same gadget/button could do that, alternatively, press a shortKey to Start, press it again to Stop & Average.
:)
we already have a Pathes Average tool (in the path manager),
I think it could be possible without too much code to adapt this feature
to the freehand drawing tools, and the same for a Stroke Smoothing feature ... 8)

I was working on a tool to allow the same system of "stroke revision" by drawing over the same line over and over, but it was too much of a pain in the ass to implement. I'm glad to see that someone had the same idea. I'd really like to see TVP allow a person to sketch out a spline using the same revisive strokes, then constrain the stylus to that spline.

I imagine that since it's a research project it might be easier to obtain a license or source code than it would it if were something proprietary.
