project compatibility TV Paint Pro - TV Paint

Please forgive me if this has already been posted, I am new here!...

Is it possible to work with a project between TVPaint Pro and TVPaint and vice versa? and if so are there issues?
e.g. I'm assuming that the Pro effects if applied in TVPaint Pro would not be present if the project was opened on The standard version

I'm asking as we are looking to purchase TVPaint. We probably don't need everything in the Pro version, but would like to be able to collaborate with animators working with TVP Pro

(running on 24" intel iMac workstations)

You can work with TVP Animation standard Edition and Professionnal Edition with no problem.

The only restriction is when you will save with the Standard Edition you will loose any informations about features specific to the Professionnal version.
