Someone reminded me recently that oil independence means not just electric cars but nothing made of plastic either. To that I said perhaps people would be forced to develop products made of paper. Having experienced Bakelite telephones and East German Trabants in my lifetime it wasn't hard for me to imagine computers made of paper based materials. Now you've shown me that my thinking was on the right track.

Egads, all those red cents (ww2 paper pennys) I once played store with were the forerunners of being "green"!
