...I tried to find the sketches of cats which I believe Hokusai did, in brush and ink, but either I got the artist wrong or nobody had bothered to scan those.

I think rather "artist wrong", the cats drawing you are refering at
is probably the one from the "sohistu gafu" sketchbook of Hiroshigé (around 1850),
or am I wrong too ..?


unless it's another one, from Utagawa Kuniyoshi ?

Congrats to Rony who have been awarded in Annecy short project competition,
(SACD prize) for his project "the Tramp" (le Clochard in french).
we can see the Animatic up on this page.

that's great, no doubt this prize will lend a hand to make the film achieve.
