:D Haha, okay, glad you're having fun! Ok, I get it, I just didn't think my project was so complex, but maybe it is. In average I'd say each clip is composed of about 8-10 layers with 15 frames that are stretched over about ±200 frames. And the whole project contains about 20 clips.

Popping in to say - I'm working on a 5-min animation project with plenty scenes in the project file. It's like 16.8gb or something. I had to move the project to an external drive, something went wrong (maybe a memory leak or something when I saved and then started using other applications while it was saving) and it started eating up all the space on my local hard drive, I ended up with almost no space, from about 140gb down to 300mb or something wild.
Anyways, huge file, and I must say when I'm working in TVPaint it's pretty quick to draw and CTG fill stuff etc. so I don't really have complaints there, but I found turning off 'compression' in the Preferences > Save menu makes it save a little bit (20%?) faster at least. I timed it - it's around 1min to save the file, and then another min or so until I can work on the project again as TVP seems to freeze for a while after the save progress bar completes.
TVPaint Pro 11.7.5 Mac 64-bit, Mac Mini M4, 24gb ram, macOS Sequoia 15.5, Wacom Cintiq 22" HD driver 6.4.9-2, Apple Magic keyboard, wired logitech mouse, Crucial X9Pro ext SD drive which has my work, Western Digital ext drive for time machine backups, also backs up work folder on Crucial drive.
