Using TVP 12.02pro on a Mac Studio Max, Sonoma, 64gb RAM
Using TVP11 standard previously, if reference files were needed, I would use the File menu> select Import Files> pick the files>click, specify length and... it would import them into the current project.
When using TVP12pro now, that process seems to have changed ?
Rather than import the files into the current project, it sets them up as a new, separate, project.
Is there a new way to get them into the current project and, if so, can someone kindly point me in the right direction on how to do it ?
Thank you for your help.
Regards
simon

Re: Importing Files TVP12pro
Nothing about the import procedure has changed from v11 to v12 as far as I can see.
If you open files from the File Menu > Open/Import , or drag-and-drop the first file in an image sequence onto the TVPaint project interface , the Import Footage window will open. You have four options for importing : Project , Clip, Layer , or Custom Brush If you want the imported images to come in on the Layer of an existing scene you should select Layer . Otherwise select Project (to bring in the images as a New Project) or Clip to bring in the images as a New Clip within an existing TVPaint project file.
If your images are coming in as a New Project , then check to make sure you have selected Layer or Clip instead of Project . (again, this is exactly the same in v.11 and v.12)

David
Thank you very much for your reply and help, that has done the trick.
It is different to how it was on V11 standard in that the default appears to be the project setting rather than the layer, although that is possibly my lack of experience with it.
