'Peter and the Wolf' on HBOMax was animated with TVPaint Animation. The production company for the animation was Blink Industries . Some of the animators and clean-up artists who worked on the film have started posting their line tests on Instagram and elsewhere.

The hand-drawn animation is combined with 3D miniature sets.
