TVpaint 2.0 (Amiga)

Post by Pit! »

Hello everyone,

I have been a user of TVPaint since the days of the Amiga, im my case the painter originally came with an Archos Avideo24 video board. Just this month, I managed to find that card on eBay and set up a working Amiga 500 to showcase the capabilities of the painter during retro computer exhibitions through a non-profit association. Unfortunately, my copy of TVPaint has been lost. I'm reaching out to see if anyone can sell me an old copy with a dongle, or if the developers still have a dongle-free version available.
The version was the TVpaint 2.0 for Achos Avideo24 ( named TVPaint.av )

Can anyone help me?

*I've attached an Amiga rendered picture, where smoke and sky was from TVpaint :-)

Not sure if it was about the Amiga version, but if I remember well, one of the oldest version of TVPaint was available to download at some point.
Since it was years ago, you could try https://web.archive.org/ ?

Well, even here at TVPaint we don't have a copy of TVPaint 2.0
The free version mox is referring to was v3.6 and didn't work on an Amiga 500, and needed at least a 68030 or 68040.
