the option to remember last project on startup is very nice
it allows to quicky continue where i left off the previous day.
but i also often work on projects that require me to have more then one project open.
with modelsheets or reference shots etc..
it would be nice if i could let TVPaint remember them all instead of just one.
and without having to reload the other projects by hand.
could you add that in the preference panel?
Not yet sure what the best way would be...
maybe a second option to "remember all" projects on startup...?
or it might be a better idea to set a number? ...
remembering more then just 1 last project on startup

thinking about it more... that number option is maybe not the most elegant option. but i was thinking how to limit so it would not try to load 100 projects.
i now think that just this:
"projects that where open when you last closed tvpaint"
would be the best option.

Ah, on Mac every program has a "recent files" list available, which is maintained by the OS.

Re: remembering more then just 1 last project on startup
Good to hear.
somewhat related...
I just now lost almost an hour of work with a v12 beta crash. (i forgot its not as stable as v11 that i normally use)
would it also be possible for tvpaint to in the future remember active projects so you don't loose work when this happens?
Perhaps via some sort of constant background save option?
So many programs do this now, people (read "i") tend to forget the regular saving...

Re: remembering more then just 1 last project on startup
Hello Peter, as usual we do not recommend using betas for important work.
Regarding constant saves, we have thought of these on several occasions and we are still a bit on the fence about them, especially regarding the performance impact it could have.
They wouldn't replace the default way of saving projects, that's for sure.

Hi Dean,
i blame myself for using the beta for work..
I did just now switch to automatic saving and this was far less obtrusive then i remembered it to be.
Not sure if TVPaint v12 saves faster or its just that i'm now working with a much smaller file or that my current computer is that much faster?
In any case saving goes very swift and this is a good alternative in this case.
