It's just a nitpick, but is there anybody else prefering the 'older v11' butterfly logo? The older graphic interface also looks more appealing to me.
Additionally, if anyone knows if there's an option to disable the TVP12 custom arrow, I'd be glad to hear about it.

Hi, this is the communication crew here! We're sorry that you don't share our taste. We know part of our community was attached to the butterfly, but as any company, it was time that we refreshed our identity to something more up-to-date
Re: TVPaint logo
If I may just offer minor feedback related to this, the taskbar icon doesn't seem very iconic other than being a square gradient compared to other animation apps surrounding it, at least!

Re: TVPaint logo
i really like the Moho logo, subtle but with a very clear reference to what its for.
Blender is also nice in that its a simple shape while not a letter.
DaVinci also nicely communicates its function
Cacani looks like some nineties computergame asset.
animation paper and open toonz are a bit predictable (fine but somewhat boring)
That yellow cartoony pencil on a stack of paper is clipart- what software is that?
The TVpaint icon is unreadable, i don't mind much but i prefer the Beta colorscheme over this bright purple-blue combi.

Re: TVPaint logo
I prefer the butterfly as well. It is a beautiful rendering. It stands out, no mistaking it. I don't need anything like an initial or symbol of the tools or animation it represents. Instead it is a fine example of the product quality. It embodies a high level of refinement and detail I attribute to the tool. The butterfly rendering is ingenious. For an icon it is both powerfully attention grabbing and beautiful. My eyes and mind light up when I spot it in my dock. In a sense it is better that there are no words or initials. Apple is just using their apple these days. It is an elegant approach. Of course this is not "Butterfly" it is TVPaint. Perhaps it should have been Butterfly all along?

Re: TVPaint logo
If you still have v11 installed, you can easily put the butterfly icon on v12.
Right click on the app icon (NOT the dock one, the one in the Application folder), click "Get Info".
Do it on both v11 and v12.
Then in the small info window of v11, you can click on the butterfly icon to select it, copy it with Cmd-C.
Select the icon in the v12 info window, paste with Cmd-V.
Done !
