George Wiki website Down?

Post by TheInsaneum »

Hi! So it seem the tvpaint wiki https://wiki.tvpaint.com has been down for a while now.
If I try to open it I just get an error page saying "Sorry! This site is experiencing technical difficulties". Im not sure if the wiki is just not being continiued since most of the information is on the official TVP website aswell.
But personally I always found the wiki page much easyer to navigate since all the commands were organised by category while the TVP page is just a giant list.
I hope the wiki dosnt stay dead but if it does it would be cool if it was maybe available as an HTML file or smth so we could run it offline at least.
Im not even sure who was running it and if theyre active in this forum but Im hoping this will reach the right people!

Hello,

Yes, the wiki is down at the moment, I assume something broke in the settings.
I will try to put it back online next week when I'll be back from my holidays :)

It looks like that the wiki is still down, but we can access some of it using the wayback machine.

Here is the Language Reference page and the command reference page.

Yeah it is still down, my apologies I didn't get the time to do it as I have been quite busy.

I plan on transferring the data (which is still there) to the Documentation, to have all the information in one place instead of having separate websites.
I should have a bit of "free time" within the next two weeks to start working on this.

Took me a few hours of debugging but hey would you look at that, the wiki is up once again: https://wiki.tvpaint.com/index.php/Main_Page :p
Also, don't forget that the wiki isn't up to date on the George commands themselves. The list in the Documentation will always be up-to-date: https://www.tvpaint.com/doc/tvp11/index ... ds&lang=en

I still plan on migrating the Wiki's data to the documantation, but I will probably do that during the next year.

OMGGGG T_T thank you Thierry
Yes I'll refer to the documentation for the commands thanks a lot! Indeed would be nice to see the basis of george scripting on the documentation (but for now the wiki is more than enough :D maybe you could reference the right pages on the docs?)

Thanks you again!
