License rehosting error! Topic is solved
License rehosting error!
Hello!
I was using tvpaint yesterday without any issues, I closed the program and when I came back to it and reopened it again, it was saying that I didn't have the license to work on tvpaint. I checked into my codemeter profile and there were two licenses (one temp), both activated. And when I went to rehost the license, it showed the following error.
I uninstalled everything and reinstalled a fresh download and still the error persists.
Is there a solution to this?

Hello GJeaks, so the issue appeared overnight?
Did you recently install a major OS update, clone or format your hard drive?
Could you send me a screenshot of your Codemeter's main window via PM, please?

Hi Dean,
I installed an audio interface and have used 'first-aid' from the disk utility, but that's about it. Nothing other than that. I'll send you a PM of the codemeter's main window.

Re: License rehosting error!
HI,
Has anyone else faced any issue like this? I'm in the middle of a project and I need to get it fixed soon T-T I'm trying to salvage it by using other software but it'll be great if there is a solution to this.
Dean, I have shared the relevant screenshots with you. I feel that the problem is a license rehosting issue, and if the license can be reset I can probably get tvpaint to work. Can it be done from the backend? (I'm just speculating on the solution)
Everytime I open tvpaint I get this window
...and I have tried reinstalling it multiple times too.

Re: License rehosting error!
Hello, just responded to your PM, according to what I see, a simple remote license rehost or Codemeter update will be necessary.

Re: License rehosting error!
Does anyone know why my CodeMeter control centre say "CodeMeter service has been stopped'
Re: License rehosting error!
