Pencil Not Drawing Topic is solved

Greetings,

Things were going smoothly until suddenly I could not use the pencil tool option. All the other drawing tool options are still working (and the pencil will create a new instance if applied) but it will not draw. Everything else is working fine. I am at a loss. I've enclosed a screenshot. Any ideas?

Hello Johnny,

From what I see in your screenshot, your pencil has the "Erase" drawing mode on it:

If you change from "Erase" to "Color" it should be working again

Many thanks, Thierry. That was exactly it.
From time to time, I unknowingly change a setting while working quickly and sometimes can't figure out what I've done.
Anyway, this fixed it.
