Simon’s Cat (part of the Banijay Group) is looking for an experienced 2D TVPaint animator to join the team!

As a key part of the animation team, you’ll develop films from animatics through to final delivery, closely collaborating with our Animation Director & Creative Director on monthly films.
2D Animator Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role and a thorough knowledge of TV Paint are essential for this role – a love for cats and cat content are a bonus.

Duties:

Develop hand-drawn storyboards from Creative Director into animatics using TV Paint.
2D character animation using TVPaint.
When applicable, give direction and feedback to clean-up artists & animation assistants.

Collaborate with Animation Director, Assistants, and the Production Team to ensure the smooth delivery of films with weekly review meetings.

Knowledge & Skills:

Proven experience as a 2D animator
In-depth knowledge and experience working with TV Paint
Comfortable working with deadlines and budget restrictions
Excellent attention to detail
Friendly and personable manner

This is a hybrid working role with 3 days a week working from home with 1 – 2 days a week required to work from our studio in Shepherds Bush, London, UK.
